The Hazelwood Women's 5K is one of the longest-running women-only road races in the country. It is truly a celebration of women and their participation in running. The GNBTC encourages women and girls of all ages to run or walk in this year's race.

- Course: Fast and flat through scenic New Bedford waterfront. Begins and ends at Hazelwood Park. Map
- Registration: Senior Center, 553 Brock Ave., New Bedford, MA
- Awards: Top 3 overall in 5K Run and 5K Walk. Top 3 in 5K Run Age Divisions and Mother/Daughter Teams. First Place in Mother/Daughter Team Walk. (Mother/Daughter Teams must provide a unique team name.) Prizes will also be available for participants in the Kids' Run.
- Course Record: 17:27 by Stephanie Reilly. Runner who sets new course record will receive $100.
- Kids' Fun Run: Starts at 9:30 a.m. Ages 10 and under.
- T-Shirts: Short-sleeve T-shirts to the first 200 registered
